Screen Mirror: Cast to TV

Published by Heaven miner · info@heaven-overseas.com

This app mirrors your phone's screen and plays your photos, videos and music

on a TV, computer or tablet on the same network. This page explains what it

does with information, and what it does not.

The short version

Your photos, videos, music and whatever is on your screen are never uploaded.

They travel from your phone straight to the device you picked, over your own

Wi-Fi or hotspot. There is no account, nothing to sign up for, and nothing is

sold to anyone.

What never leaves your phone

Photos, videos and music. Read only to list them and to serve the one you

choose to cast. The file is sent from your phone directly to your TV or

computer on the local network.

Your screen. Captured only after you tap Start mirroring and accept

Android's own screen-sharing prompt. It is streamed to the device you chose

and is never recorded or stored.

Sound. While mirroring, what the phone is playing is captured so the other

screen can play it too. The microphone is never recorded. Android files this

under the microphone permission, which is why the app asks for it.

The pairing code. The camera reads the QR code a TV shows. The image is

decoded and discarded.

Your settings. Language, last used device and preferences stay on the

phone.

What is collected

Usage analytics. Anonymous, aggregated events — app opens, which screens

are used, when a cast or mirror starts — along with device model and Android

version. No files, no screen content, nothing that identifies you personally.

Handled by Google Firebase Analytics.

Notifications. A messaging token for this installation, used to send app

announcements. Notifications can be switched off in Android's settings.

Diagnostics. Crash and performance reports, so faults can be found and

fixed.

Advertising. The app may show ads from Google AdMob or Google Ad Manager.

Google may use the device advertising identifier to choose which ads to show.

That identifier can be reset or deleted in Android's settings, under

Privacy → Ads.

Google's handling of this data is covered by Google's own privacy policy at
